The 13 Laws of the Universe: The Law of Attraction

Of all the Laws of the Universe, the Law of Attraction is the most widely known — and the most widely misunderstood. It is not a wish machine. It is not positive thinking. It is a fundamental principle of energy, and once you truly understand how it works, everything changes.

Look up at the Pillars of Creation — those towering columns of cosmic gas and dust photographed by the James Webb Space Telescope. Inside those pillars, right now, stars are being born. Clouds of matter are drawing toward each other, pulled by gravity, by density, by the irresistible logic of like attracting like. Hydrogen finds hydrogen. Density finds density. Over millions of years, a star ignites.

The Law of Attraction works the same way.

Not instantly. Not magically. But consistently, reliably, and in response to the energy you are emitting — whether you are aware of it or not.

What the Law of Attraction Actually Is

The Law of Attraction states that like energy attracts like energy.

The thoughts you think most consistently, the emotions you carry most persistently, and the beliefs you hold most deeply act as a kind of energetic frequency. That frequency moves outward into the world and draws back experiences, people, and circumstances that match it.

This is not metaphor. Energy is real. Frequency is real. The idea that what you emit shapes what you receive is as old as human wisdom and as current as quantum physics.

But here is what most people miss: the Law of Attraction is not primarily responding to what you want. It is responding to what you are.

Your dominant state — not your occasional hopeful thought, not your vision board, not the affirmation you said once last Tuesday — is what the law is reading and responding to. Consistently.

Why It Matters in Your Practice

The Law of Attraction is the engine beneath your scripting practice.

When you script — when you write your desires in present tense, from the feeling of already having them — you are not just describing a life you want. You are practicing the energetic state of someone who already has it.

And that state is what the law responds to.

This is why scripting works when positive thinking alone often doesn't. Positive thinking is a surface act. Scripting goes deeper — it engages your emotions, your imagination, your nervous system, and your belief. Done consistently, it begins to shift your dominant frequency from "I want this and don't have it" to "this is my life."

That shift is everything.

The gap between where you are and where you want to be is not a gap of effort. It is a gap of frequency. And scripting is one of the most powerful tools available to close it.

Where Most People Get It Wrong

Mistake 1: Thinking attraction is about thoughts alone

Thoughts matter, but emotions are the amplifier. A thought held without feeling barely registers. A thought held with genuine emotion — with the felt sense of it being real — is far more powerful. When you script, feel it. Don't just write the words. Inhabit them.

Mistake 2: Asking from lack

"I really want more money" and "I am financially abundant" are not the same frequency. The first is broadcasting scarcity. The second is broadcasting abundance. The Law of Attraction cannot distinguish between your desire and your dominant state — it simply matches what it finds. Script from the energy of having, not wanting.

Mistake 3: Inconsistency

One powerful scripting session followed by three days of anxious, scarcity-driven thinking will not produce consistent results. The law is always on. It is always reading your dominant frequency. This is not a reason for perfectionism — it is a reason for practice. Small, consistent shifts in your inner state over time create enormous outer change.

Mistake 4: Watching for evidence too anxiously

Checking obsessively for signs that the law is working actually broadcasts doubt — which the law also reads. Script, release, and go live from the frequency of trust. The watching gets in the way of the receiving.

How to Work with It Consciously

Step 1 — Identify your dominant frequency around your desire. Before you script, get honest. When you think about the area of life you are scripting for — money, love, career, health — what is the first emotional response? Relief or anxiety? Openness or contraction? That response is your current frequency. Knowing it is the beginning of shifting it.

Step 2 — Script from the end. Write as if what you desire is already true. Not "I will have" — but "I have." Not "I hope to attract" — but "I am." The present tense is not a grammatical trick. It is a frequency instruction.

Step 3 — Feel it as you write. Slow down. Let the words land. Let your body respond to what you are writing. The emotional resonance you generate while scripting is the signal the Law of Attraction is reading.

Step 4 — Tend your baseline. Notice what you are consuming, thinking, and feeling between scripting sessions. The law is not only active when your journal is open. It is active always. What is your baseline frequency on an ordinary Tuesday afternoon?

Step 5 — Trust and release. After you script, close the journal and live. Trust that the frequency has been set and the law is at work. Carry the energy of someone whose desire is already on its way — because it is.

A Scripting Example

Instead of:

I want to attract a loving relationship.

Try:

I am in a relationship that is warm, honest, and deeply fulfilling. I attract love easily and naturally because I move through the world from a place of genuine wholeness. I am seen clearly by the people in my life and loved for exactly who I am. Love flows to me and through me with ease.

Notice the difference in how those two statements feel in your body. The first is a wish. The second is a frequency. That felt difference is the whole practice.

One Thing to Try This Week

Choose one area of your life where you want to work with the Law of Attraction.

Before you script, sit quietly for two minutes and ask yourself: what is my honest, current emotional frequency around this topic?

Name it without judgment. Anxious. Hopeful. Doubtful. Excited. Resigned. Curious.

Then script from where you want to be — from the frequency of already having it — and let yourself feel it as fully as you can while you write.

Do this three times this week. Notice what shifts — not just in your outer circumstances, but in your inner state. The inner shift always comes first.

Final Thoughts

The Law of Attraction is not a promise that you will get everything you want if you think hard enough about it.

It is a description of how energy works — how your inner world broadcasts a frequency that shapes what your outer world reflects back to you.

This is not a reason for pressure. It is a reason for compassion.

When life feels stuck, the invitation is not to try harder — it is to go inward. To ask what frequency you are actually holding. To tend it gently. To shift it, incrementally and consistently, toward what you want to create.

The stars in the Pillars of Creation did not force themselves into being. They simply followed the law — drawing what matched them closer, over time, until something luminous ignited.

You are doing the same thing.

May your frequency be clear and your trust be steady. May what you are calling in find you easily. May you become, in your inner life, the exact thing you most wish to attract.
